This was a very exciting first round of these two categories. The match between Gene Tierney and Greer Garson had me on my toes the entire time. They were tied quite a bit during the last two days, but Gene finally won out. Congrats, Gene!

Classic Actress Tourney Starts Tomorrow!

I’ve been on vacation, but I am back! It is almost time for the tournament…. in fact, it starts on Monday, March 5th! I hope many of you will vote in the tournament… I will put links to the sites that are holding the 1930s, 1950s, and 1960s eras as well, so please vote. Thanks, Monty, for making all this possible!

My friend, Monty, at his classic movie blog All Good Things, is conducting his annual Favorite Classic Movie Actress Tournament and I am honored to be doing the 1940s era for him. Of course, you all know that means Roz will be in it, and I hope she does great, I am rooting for our girl!!!!
